Our mentors are highly experienced, each with 12 years or more of experience. We have worked at top-notch St. Louis companies such as Ameren, Maritz, NSI, Anheuser-Busch, PracticeLink, Eagle Technology Group and more.
We offer over 500+ hours of practical, hands-on, project-based training. We mentor our students through lectures, labs, workshops, and team-projects that build web applications using industry leading practices. Our training is customized to fit your business needs.
Our mentors are experienced at guiding developers in a team-based environment, including partnering with customers using the agile process, team communication with daily stand-ups, solo and pair programming.

Let us find applicants that match your requirements. Our mentors attend community user groups to find talent showing motivation to excel. We offer monthly free code introductions open to anyone in the community, and we partner with leading staffing agencies. We mentor candidates, and work with them on small projects to build a base of skills to prepare for the apprentice program. Our pre-screened candidates pass a rigorous review and must produce a portfolio project to be accepted.
Apprentices attend in-depth training on skills you require. Then as apprentices work on your project, guidance from our mentors ensures students keep on the right track. During the program you have full access to monitor or work with your apprentices.
Apprentices work on a project for your business from the beginning. We know the best way to learn is by doing real work, guided by an expert. Learning a topic in college gives a good understanding of a concept, but it's no substitute for experience. However, getting started with no experience is a difficult task without proper guidance. Nexul Academy offers that guidance to ensure the success of your apprentices.
Nexul Academy programs with 8 or more students have a dedicated expert instructor. This allows the curriculum portion of the apprenticeship to be customized to meet the employer's needs. We can reinforce your coding standards and practices, swap out course modules or even courses.
Onboarding experienced developers into a new company takes time to train them on your business practices and industry. You already have people with in-depth knowledge about your business, working in non-development roles that have an interest in technology.
